Drum and percussion tuition is given by Colin Owen of CODA drums. Rates for lessons are as follows :
| 4 x 30 minutes | £40 | 10 x 1 hour | £175 |
All lessons aim to teach the key skills required to master the instrument through student centred lessons :
1. Ability to identify with the music and have a firm understanding of song form & structure.
2. To play time musically.
3. The development of facility to allow students to access the sounds they require & explore the drum kit through the study of various techniques (including the moeller method).
4. The ability to read music and understand drum charts.
CODA Drum Studio
The CODA Drum Studio is a fully equipped state of the art sound proof studio with real top end drum kits, catering for both left and right handed players of any age or skill level.
